How To Order Custom Albums

How to Order Custom made albums
Step One - Contact

Contact me via email at sommjenn@gmail.com or by phone at 920-279-1779 with the desired size of album, theme, number of photos submitting and any other ideas. I will respond as soon as possible, usually within 1-2 days.

Step Two - Organizing

Get your photos together.
The pictures I receive are subject to cropping. If you do not want your pictures to be cropped please make copies and send me the copies of the originals.
Put the photos you want in groups and put them in a plastic bag. Add any information you want included; such as dates, names and/or places, on a piece of paper.  You can also number the photos on the back then indicate on the paper any information you want to go along with the photo. Please do not write any more than the number on the back of the photos.
I will determine the number of photos per page for you.
Sometimes including ALL photos in a scrapbook can be a challenge, but I can do it if you want them all in the album. However this may increase the number of pages needed in the album ultimately increasing the price. If there are certain photos you DEFINITELY want in your album please indicate this in the notes.
Any unused photos will be returned with the completed album pages.

Step Three – Purchase Album, Pages and Page Protectors

The quoted prices do not include the album, pages or page protectors. You will need to purchase these on your own.
You can find various kinds of scrapbooks and accessories at Wal-Mart, JoAnn Fabrics & Crafts, Michael’s, Hobby Lobby and Hancock Fabric & Crafts.  I do recommend Creative Memories Albums they have a limited lifetime warranty. They have a patented Flex-Hinge binding which allows albums to lie flat when open and each page is reinforced, and held in place with sturdy stainless steel staples. They are an investment, but aren’t your memories worth it?
If you purchase an album online you may have it shipped directly to me to save on cost.
Please be sure to purchase page protectors unless you are using the Top Loading post bound albums which already include protected pages. Please choose what you like the best; I have my preferences for a reason they are mine J

Step Four – Customer Agreement

Print, sign and date the Customer Agreement and include with your photos.

Step Five – Hand Deliver/Mail

Pack all of your pictures securely in a box to ensure they will not move around.
Include signed and dated Customer Agreement in your package.
A 50% deposit of the estimated cost will be due before I begin work on your album.
If paying by check, make your check payable to Jenna Fowler.
Consider insuring your package when you mail it – this option is up to you.
Mail the package to my home address, which I will provide to you.

Step Six – Design

I will contact you when I receive your photos and we can discuss your album ideas, themes, set-up etc.
If paying by check, I will start work on your album when your check clears the bank.
I will keep you up to date on the progress of your book.
I may email you pictures of your layouts as we go to be sure you are happy with the work and to further discuss journaling or changes to the layout.

Step Seven – Finished

It is your choice if you want all your completed project hand delivered (local) or shipped certified and/or insured. (You are responsible for ALL shipping and handling charges.)
When your project is complete I will email you the final bill (which will include all shipping and handling charges if applicable.)
Once payment is received and cleared from the bank I will send the completed album to you.

Step Eight – Refer

Please tell your friends about me. This business is only successful because of customer referrals and positive feedback.
